Sighisoara city (in germany Shassburg, in hungarian Segesvar) is a locality with the oldest cities statut from Transylvania (1517) and is situated in centre of the country, at 65 km from Sibiu, 121 km from Brasov and 328 km from Bucharest. Sighisoara is a second bigest city from Mures county being considerate town after its size. The historical centre is very well kept knowing the fact that Sighisoara is one of the few living fortress from south-est part from Europe. This is one of the reasons for which Sighisoara was declarated in 1999 a protected monument being in Unesco’s patrimonial list and became near the other important mondial edifices. In the last time was launched projects for buildings renovation from the city and for the tourism development in this area too. The arhitecture of the city was influenced by the historical past, being builded protected walls in surroundings of the city, in time becaming a fortress with a special importance from Transylvania.
